Each teaching pack follows the demands of the new specification and is jam-packed full of theory, practical ideas, teaching suggestions and photocopiable student handouts for delivering the set text in terms of its context, how to look at the play from the perspective of a performer and designer, looking at key extracts and creating a performance vision and preparing your students for the exam. The teaching packs will provide you with an abundance of lesson ideas and resources to teach your set play. The teaching ideas take you through every scene of the play and give you suggestions for how to teach the scene and prepare for different exam questions. The teaching ideas use a combination of practical/workshop ideas and more theory-based tasks for homework (or for those students self isolating at home).

By covering all of the teaching notes in this pack you will have taught the entire play, covered all of the major and minor characters have covered all of the major themes and motifs, covered the important contextual details behind the script and students will have their own directorial, acting and design (costume and staging) interpretations for the play. Students will have also been introduced to a variety of exam-style questions.
