These A5 saddle stitched exercise books (pack of 30) will provide you with a complete set of 36 week's worth of spelling homeworks for your Year 3 students.

The idea is simple: your Year 3 students should each be issued with their own book. They will take this home each week. The book contains a weekly list of 10 spellings to learn. These weekly spelling homeworks are comprised of the first 50 spellings from the statutory spelling lists for Yrs 3/4 and over half of the statutory spelling patterns and rules for Years 3/4. Within each weekly homework, the student will be learning some of the statutory words and also other words which conform to the statutory spelling patterns they must also cover.

The students should bring their book back to school on the day of the test. There is a section in the book for them to write their test answers each week, and a section to record their spelling test results. It's a great way for both teachers and parents to keep a record of the spelling progress.

With 36 weeks of spelling homework, you will have spellings and spelling patterns covered at Year 3! What's more, we will even personalise the front cover of the book for free with your school name and logo if you wish! Once they progress to Year 4, you can move on to the Year 4 books and therefore cover all of the statutory spelling words and patterns.
