Quick Overview

The 2014 National Curriculum emphasises the need for Key Stage 2 pupils to be able to write for purpose, selecting appropriate vocabulary as well as pupils developing an understanding of how they can change their vocabulary selection during the drafting process. This fun vocabulary game encourages pupils to focus upon key vocabulary, develops their understanding and works upon their use of synonyms and antonyms (a skill specifically outlined in the Curriculum for Year 6.)


•Players take it in turns to answer questions and solve mysteries in order to win badges
•Game cards cover four key areas of vocabulary:
◦Synonyms
◦Antonyms
◦Homophones
◦Multiple-meaning words
•Children need to earn three badges for each vocabulary area to be promoted to Super Sleuth and win
•Special decoder card allows for self-checking

•Includes:
◦200 game cards, 50 for each learning area
◦48 die-cut badges

•For 2 – 4 players
